LOVE THAT MUDDY WATER-DALLAS YOU'RE MY HOME

Have you been reading about the Trinity River development project? This is going to cost a fortune, but what an opportunity for Cliff Dwellers to enjoy parks and entertainment (along with the tourists) and hopefully establish new business ventures. But wouldn't you know it? Mt Creek Lake is a tributary of the Trinity and has flooded several times-its waters running over a former Superfund landfill/chemical disposal dump into the river and , sad to say, the Trinity is also heavily polluted. Being in the center of Dallas with industry lining up nearby has not helped; yet our Trinity may soon become a tourist mecca with restaurants, barges, and a riverwalk! Do you think the dirty water might be a problem? How many people want to eat on a pier overlooking a river with waste and sick fish floating by? Could we dye the water blue like Six Flags does? Whatever the outcome, I'd love to support businesses along the river if the land and water were reasonably and appetizingly clean. Probably no fish tacos for me, though...
