I see today that the sale of Vought to Triumph "went through," so I hope the Dallas media will now address the fact that the Dallas NAS/NWIRP now christiened "Mountain Creek Industrial Center" is being sold online at auction! Wasn't this large naval facility recently made a historic site? How can you just sell our toxic military base - with all its revered Cold War history - to an unknown landlord or lord of another toxic industry? Seems there would be some discussion among Dallas leaders or DALLAS CITIZENS or the media-or SOMETHING!
The planes at Vought/Triumph are designed and built under the national security umbrella-are they not? Can just anyone own the "industrial park?" And let me add, I'm sure owners from China or Dubai would just love to guard our Cold War history and nuclear weapons/space program technology!
Oh, people, it is a crazy world! Maybe not so much IF obvious weird events were discussed and explained. But to do so, would raise the dreaded RED FLAG and the Navy might not be able to dump its toxic, unremediated - to - completion site.
Stay tuned. We'll see how much a buyer is willing to pay for the shoreline of yucky Mountain Creek Lake and Cottonwood Bay with its ruined groundwater and aquifer.
