WOULD YOU-COULD YOU-BE MY NEIGHBOR?

Which would you rather live next to? A nuclear reactor or a drilling rig?
What a question!
But actually a nuclear reactor is neater, cleaner, and quieter than a rig, and it gives off much less radiation.
Today, I read the following surprising revelation from TxSharon (who is affiliated with Texas OGAP and "Drill Right Texas"): Because the drilling industry is UNREGULATED, rigs emit 5-30 TIMES more radiation* than nuclear reactors! We know fracking chemicals cause explosions and cracks underground, infiltrating water supply by some pathway; and causing NORM (naturally occurring (?) radiation) to come forth, also. Double trouble-mystery chemicals and NORM.
Then, if the whole mess ignites/explodes...Well, we pay a high price for cheap, "clean" energy that isn't even clean.
This is why we need to regulate the industry and DRILL RIGHT, TEXAS-even if those emission
guards cut into magnificently obscene profits.
Remember, the Mountain Creek Lake area will see drilling rigs, I predict and anticipate from conversations with an EPA employee. No secret there-just a prudent use of contaminated land!
Be ready, Oak Cliff, and armed with the truth about drilling - the positives (money) and the negatives-pretty much everything else, unless your case is very unusual and you don't mind toxic air.
