SOLD...TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER!

This afternoon I've been thinking and talking with co-workers about allowable expanded corporate gifts to political candidates.
WHAT IS THE SUPREME COURT THINKING?
For most of my life, I've been taught just the opposite: the wealthy should not be able to influence elections with their money! It's not democratic or Christian or Tex/American or the way we do things in Oak Cliff!
Now, no problemo...
The more I see of corporations, the more I believe their loyalty lies with themselves, not necessarily the US. After all, they buy and sell worldwide, and many will not clean up the environmental damage they've done to our country. Heck, they can build a new plant or office complex in a developing nation far cheaper than they can remediate their own US soil and groundwater...
Cost more to do business somewhere else? Just pass the cost on to the consumer if one is brokering something REALLY VITAL like gold, beer, Coke, or oil and gas!
Listen friends, if companies are not loyal to the US, its land, and citizens-they do not deserve to own a Senator! Does anyone?
Just when we think an environmentally-minded Democratic administration - and the blinded-minded Supreme Court- are going to do a grand, egalitarian thing-look what happens! Sold down the river for a sliver of silver! As President Obama said, "A victory for big oil and Wall Street banking..."
Corporations are not the same as individuals when it comes to free speech-or personal resonsibility, for that matter.
