I'm Quaking at the Thought of Haitian Uranium, Iridium

This morning I am sending out a humble post from Dallas to people all over the world who have a concern for politics and the environment: LOOK AT HAITI.
Fascinating - even frightening - things are on the Internet pertaining to the earthquake there.
We all mourn the loss of life and infrastructure, but let us not totally forget the natural resources in Haiti and the US/UN military occupation of the island. What are the natural resources? oil, natural gas, uranium, diamonds, iridium (used in spacecraft, drilling, GPS devices, satellite systems, cell phones, quantum physics-supercolliders); and guess what? The methods used to detect minerals, then mine and drill for them can cause earthquakes!
Look at the HAARP videos on YOUTUBE. Though one or two are a tad bizarre, several are very informative and eye-opening about technology that can blow open the earth to find oil or even destroy an enemy country without nuclear weapons/radiation. Seems this technology came from the Star Wars science of the Reagan era and ARCO's oil explorations in Alaska, then changed hands several times as companies bought and sold it.
But back to natural resources and politics...
Who is guarding the uranium of split apart Haiti? A Canadian/US mining company, the UN/US military? Heck, I'd be interested in knowing!* Especially since terrorists with uranium would be a global/national problem.
Who will get the mineral revenues while Haitian people are starving and unemployed? I see oil and gas are now evident after the earthquake! A nice surprise for hydrocarbon seekers.
This is an investigative piece for the mainstream media-if they can even get into Haiti and learn the story. Somehow I don't believe armed UN guards and US soldiers with rifles (10,000 persons) protecting what's behind their fence will have a lot of informative tidbits to share.
Question to ponder: How important is Hait to the US's energy and national security future...and why. Oil? Uranium? Deep water ports? A future refinery? All of the above and other?

Reflecting on this post a day later: I'm wondering if mineral rights in Haiti are already sold or leased, and the people don't know govt has been selling their resources and not giving them the benefits! Poverty and government corruption linked together again...
