WONDERVIEW and Mr. Wonderful

Mark Cuban and East Oak Cliff! Too good to be true? Maybe.
"After environmental clean up," Mark will develop the run-down area, which, according to some-floods and was a dumping ground.
Ok. More info please...What kind of dumping ground?
Superfund docs show a SF site in the 3400 block of E Kiest and we know the Cadillac Heights area is presently in the news for its lead smelters and a major "metals" dumping ground, which may be be moved to the "inland port" industrial area. (By the way, that idea sounds good to me as the metals will be organized in suitable warehouses and not DUMPED on the ground.)
So, I'm waiting for an enterprising DMN reporter to tell us the environmental status of Mark's Wonderview! I wonder what's in the soil, because what he builds on top will never be better than what's down below. The earth and her natural processes will always win and alarm us humans in time-if we bury our toxic misdeeds.
HOWEVER, if Mark C has bought wisely and successfully develops his OC property, displacing drug dealers and criminals, providing jobs and improved self-esteem and athletic opportunities for residents, hallelujah!
Sad to say, many have a jaded view of someone buying lower tier property hoping to make a
killing. Let's test that soil...and pray for a better day in the Cliff with Mark C, a maverick in every way.

Hmmm...several blogs proclaim today that something smells (bad) in Cadillac Heights.
I'm going to find out what!
Apparently, Cuban's new wonderland is cursed with a stench from the local sewer and deceased animal repository; but GOOD NEWS! When the homes and businesses between his
complex and the Trinity River are demolished, he will have .... a good location? Maybe sweaty basketball players and folks in apartments and cafes
won't notice a S-E-W-E-R...
Reservations, anyone???
