Though my general outlook about the future is hopeful-I believe God holds the future even though bad things happen-I can't help notice how dangerous the world has become. That is, how dangerous North Texas is or might be!
Have you noted that the Comanche Peak nuclear power plant (TXU) is in Glen Rose, neighboring Cleburne, and is, of course, churning out nuclear power atop the gas rich Barnett Shale? There are well over 200 natural gas drilling sites in Cleburne and YES! This is where mild earthquakes have been occuring recently.
Sure, everything is perfectly safe, but let's get up to speed on this deal.*
I can't believe I didn't make the drilling/nuclear/earthquake connection before now.
Too much harping on HAARP-and look what's in my own backyard!
*SMU is investigating the earthquakes. They are presently believed to be caused by an injection well; and they are definitely a concern. As far as I know, the company responsible for the problem has closed one offending well, but is continuing its drilling efforts and has an office in the area. Remember that fracking involves highly toxic chemicals injected miles into the ground with horizontal drilling also extending for miles. Surely Comanche Peak can withstand some thunder and cracking underneath...and maybe it won't happen. Agree???
