My husband and I are just hanging around the house on a Saturday night, and I've had to run to the computer to type up a great "quote" before I forget it. This is from Glenn Beck of Fox News and I must paraphrase.
Glenn says: We need the kind of America where we can
QUESTION BOLDLY; HOLD TO THE TRUTH; AND SPEAK WITHOUT FEAR!
The truth is the truth whether we like it or not. Yes, people disagree about what is truth, but with diligence, the majority can usually come close to figuring it out.
Glenn is not my political guru, but he answered a grating, persistant question for me tonight. Yes, I do have the right to ask questions and so do you. Now, all we need is the truth - truth about three Superfund or former Superfund sites that ring Mountain Creek Lake.
Speaking of Mt Creek Lake, Oak Cliff dwellers, the EPA specialist I talked to recently has been in Big D 11 years and at the time of our conversation had never heard of MC Lake or the Dallas Naval Air Station! Granted, he worked in the sphere of radioactivity (no joke intended) and I think he had heard of the old Duncanville Air Station; but, alas, that wasn't my question. He simply failed Dallas 101 like many from the "north" - north of the Trinity!
